DHAKA, Oct 21, 2025 (BSS) - Newly appointed Pakistani High Commission to Bangladesh Imran Haider today met with Food and Land Adviser Ali Imam Majumder at his office at the secretariat here. During the meeting, issues related to bilateral interests, including rice import from Pakistan were discussed, said a press release. It is mentionable that a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed on January 14 this year to import 200,000 metric tons of rice from Pakistan on a G2G basis.
