BNP pledges nationalization of MPO-listed teachers' jobs if voted to power: Annie | Others

DHAKA, Oct 20, 2025 (BSS) – BNP Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie today expressed solidarity with demonstrating Monthly Pay Order (MPO)-listed teachers and pledged that the party would bring them under nationalization if elected to power. Speaking at a gathering at the Central Shaheed Minar, Annie said BNP’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman has already given his support to the teachers' demands, which include fair employment benefits and state security. “BNP is committed to ensuring the dignity and welfare of teachers.
