Power division to sign MoU with ministries, offices on rooftop solar systems | News

DHAKA, Oct 20, 2025 (BSS) – The Power Division is to sign tomorrow memoranda of understanding (MoU) with five concerned ministries, divisions and departments for installation of rooftop solar power plants as part of a government plan, an official statement said here today. The energy ministry statement said primary and mass education ministry, health services division, secondary and higher education division, technical and madrasah education division and women and family welfare division would ink the deal at a ceremony at Bidyut Bhaban. It said signatory organizations would implement “National Rooftop Solar Programme Initiative 'B'” which covers educational Institutions and health facilities in line with the MoU.
