CUMILLA, Oct 20, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi today said that the martyrs of the July Uprising in 2024 are also freedom fighters. "Just as the freedom fighters were martyred in 1971, so too are the martyrs of the July uprising in 2024 of freedom fighters,” he said after paying wreaths to the grave of Shaheed Imam Hasan Tayim Bhuiyan, who was martyred in the July uprising of 2024, at Etbarpur in Chandina Upazila in the district.
