Airport fire may be part of plot to thwart polls: UTAB | Others

DHAKA, Oct 19, 2025 (BSS)- University Teachers’ Association of Bangladesh (UTAB) has expressed deep concern over the devastating fire that broke out at the cargo village of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in Dhaka. The association’s leaders have demanded a proper investigation into the incident and exemplary punishment for those responsible. In a statement issued today, UTAB President Professor Dr. A.B.M. Obaidul Islam and General Secretary Professor Dr. Morshed Hasan Khan conveyed this information.
