Seven KU students to join Sakura Science Exchange in Japan | News

KHULNA, Oct 19, 2025 (BSS) - Seven students from the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Discipline of Khulna University (KU) are set to visit Japan to take part in the Sakura Science Exchange Programme as part of collaboration between KU and the University of Yamanashi. The visit, scheduled for October 26 to November 1, comes under a MoU signed between the two universities earlier this year. The KU team will be led by Professor Dr Sohel Mahmud Sher of the ECE Discipline. The participating students are - Md Touhidul Islam, Imu Khatun, and Chaitali Nandi from the master’s programme (batch ’25), and Md Sabuj Ali, Ontu Kumar Guha, Shawon Islam, and Amit Bala from the bachelor’s programme (batch ’22).
