Bangladesh records one dengue death, 950 hospital admissions in a day

Over the past 24 hours, dengue has claimed one more life in Bangladesh, raising this year’s death toll to 245, while 950 people have been admitted to hospitals around the country. The tally of hospitalisations from the Aedes mosquito-borne disease this year hit 59,849 with the latest admissions. According to Sunday’s Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) bulletin, a man aged 62 died from the mosquito-borne disease.
