Charge-sheet filed against Kamal Ahmed Majumder in arms case | Others

DHAKA, Oct 19, 2025 (BSS) - Police have filed a charge-sheet against former State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder in an arms case. Investigation officer (IO) and sub-inspector (SI)of Pallabi Police Station Hasanur Rahman filed the charge-sheet on September 30 and Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Monirul Islam forwarded the matter for further proceedings after receiving the charge-sheet on October 15. According to a gazette notification issued on August 25, 2024, all firearm licenses issued for personal security between January 6, 2009, and August 5, 2024, were suspended.
