Large Russian assault near town of Dobropillia repelled by Kyiv's forces, says Ukraine brigade

Russia launched a large armoured assault on Thursday with more than 20 armoured vehicles near the eastern Ukrainian town of Dobropillia, Ukraine's Azov brigade said, adding that its forces had repelled the attack. There was no immediate comment from Russian authorities on the reported assault. Ukraine's General Staff made no mention of the Russian attack in a note posted on Thursday afternoon but said it was conducting "stabilising" operations in the area.
