Police arrest 5 members of inter-district robbery gang | Others

DHAKA, Oct 16, 2025 (BSS) - The Detective Branch (DB) of Police arrested fivemembers of an inter-district robbery gang along with DB jackets, walkie-talkies and private cars. The arrested are: Abdul Jabbar, 43, Md Mamun Hossain, 40, Md Sohag, 42, MdAbu Bakkar Siddique, 25, and Md Ruhul Amin, 39. Based on secret information, a DB team of Wari Division conducted a drive atRajuk Uttara Model College area at about 9:05pm yesterday, said a release ofthe Dhaka Metropolitan Police DMP (media and public relations division)issued here today.
