Titas launches drive to disconnect illegal gas lines in Savar, Gouripur | Others

DHAKA, Oct 16, 2025 (BSS) - Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited conducted drives in Savar and Gouripur areas of Cumilla district yesterday to disconnect illegal gas connections and prevent gas stealing. During the operations, the authority, led by its executive magistrates, removed 600 meters of illegal distribution lines and realized fines amounting to Taka 4,60,000, said a press release issued today. In Savar, a team from the company's regional distribution wing, led by an executive magistrate, disconnected illegal gas connections of two industrial units located in Omarpur and Raj Fulbaria areas.
