Voting ends in RUCSU elections

Balloting in the elections to the Rajshahi University Central Students' Union (RUCSU) and hall unions ended on Thursday afternoon, October 16, without any major untoward incidents. The voting concluded at all 17 polling centres at 4:00pm which began at 9:00am. After the completion of the voting, ballot papers are being taken to the Kazi Nazrul Islam Auditorium of the university with tight security where the results will be announced, said Election Commissioner to RUCSU polls Dr Prof Mostafa Kalam Akand.
