Fascist ally Obaidul Quader’s younger brother, eight others detained in Dhaka

Detectives have detained Md Shahadat Hossain, younger brother of former minister Obaidul Quader, and eight others involved with Awami League politics, in Dhaka. Muhammad Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner (DC-Media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, said this on Thursday morning. A Detective Branch team of the DMP conducted a drive in the city and arrested them, including Shahadat, he said, adding that further details about the arrests will be disclosed later.
