3 held with ammunition in Khulna | District

KHULNA, Oct 16, 2025 (BSS) - Police arrested three alleged criminals and seized firearms ammunition and two motorcycles reportedly used in criminal activities in Khulna yesterday. The arrestees were identified as Shamim Hossain, 26, of Rupsha upazila in Khulna; Sumon Hawlader, 30, of Morrelganj upazila; and Sheikh Shahruk Ahmed, alias Shanto, 26, of Rajapur upazila in Bagerhat. The arrests followed a shooting incident on Monday night in the Nirala Residential Area, where miscreants opened indiscriminate fire on an individual, injuring two pedestrians.
