Three and a half decades since the last election, RUCSU polls open

Voting has begun in the elections for the Rajshahi University Central Students’ Union (RUCSU), the hall unions and Senate student representatives over three and a half decades since the last election. Seventeen polling centres in nine buildings opened at 9am across the campus. Voting will continue until 4pm without a break. The results of the vote will be announced at the Kazi Nazrul Islam Auditorium afterwards. A total of 28,901 voters can cast their ballots in the polls. Of them, 11,305 are women and 17,596 are men.
