Sri Lanka makes ETA mandatory for foreign tourists from today | News

DHAKA, Oct 15, 2025 (BSS) – Sri Lankan high commission here announced that all foreign nationals, including Bangladeshi travellers, will be required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before arriving in Sri Lanka for tourism purposes, effective from today. According to the High Commission, the directive comes in line with new instructions from the Department of Immigration and Emigration of Sri Lanka aimed at ensuring smoother entry procedures and enhanced border management.
