NCP demands compensation for Mirpur fire victims | Others

DHAKA, Oct 15, 2025 (BSS) - National Citizen Party (NCP) today demanded compensation for the families of the victims of the deadly fire at an illegal chemical warehouse and garment factory in Rupnagar, Mirpur, which claimed lives of 16 workers. At a protest rally organized by the Mirpur Zone of the NCP's Dhaka North City unit, the party also demanded punishment for those responsible for the deadly fire and immediate removal of chemical warehouses from all residential areas of Dhaka North.
