The International Crimes Tribunal-1 has ordered the submission of the final investigation report by 8 January 2026 in seven separate cases of crimes against humanity filed over killings during the July–August movement. A total of 45 accused, including former law minister Anisul Huq, former education minister Dipu Moni, former state minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak, former ministers Amir Hossain Amu, Kamrul Islam, Abdur Razzaq, and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's advisers Salman F Rahman and Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury, are under investigation.
