Indelible ink fading, CUCSU VP candidates allege

VP candidates in the Chittagong University Central Students’ Union (CUCSU) elections from Chhatra Dal and Chhatra Shibir, Sazzad Hossain Hridoy and Ibrahim Hossain Rony respectively, have alleged that the indelible ink applied on voters’ fingers was fading. They made the allegations on Wednesday (October 15) around 10:30 am after casting their votes at the IT Building polling centres. Chhatra Dal candidate Sazzad Hossain Hridoy said, “The ink applied on voters’ fingers is disappearing, which raises concern that some may go to vote again. I have also just cast my vote, but the ink on my finger has already faded.
