The Bangladesh Jeweler’s Association (BAJUS) has raised the prices of gold again, with 22 carat gold up by Tk 2,613 to Tk 2,16,332 per bhori (11.664 grams), the highest so far in the country’s history. Besides, 21-carat gold was increased by Tk 2,496 to Tk 2,06,499 a bhori, 18-carat by Tk 2,146 to Tk 1,77,001, and gold of traditional method by Tk 1,831 to Tk 1,47,351 respectively.
