Youth held with TK 20cr counterfeit notes in Ctg | District

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 14, 2025 (BSS) - RAB arrested a youth with fake notes worth TK 20 crore in both domestic and foreign currency from a rented flat at Nurnagar Housing Society at the city around 4 pm today. The arrestee was identified as Mohammad Tanjim, 20, a resident of Bakalia. Lt. Col. Md. Hafizur Rahman, commander of RAB-7 confirmed the matter saying that the government strictly prohibits the printing of any form of currency in Bangladesh.
