RMP imposes ban centering RUCSU election | District

RAJSHAHI, Oct 14, 2025 (BSS)- Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) has imposeda ban for proper, neutral and successful completion of the election toRajshahi University Central Students Union (RUCSU), 17 Hall Councils and fivestudents representatives to the senate. A notice signed by RMP Commissioner Muhammad Abu Sufian here today said theban will remain in place from 12midnight on October 15 to 12midnight onOctober 17 to keep the law and order normal. As per the decision, all sorts of processions, meetings, gathering,agitation, use of loudspeaker and blasting of crackers have been bannedwithin 200 yards surrounding the campus.
