Court orders publication of newspaper notice summoning Hasina, 261 others | News

DHAKA, Oct 14, 2025 (BSS) – A court here today ordered authorities concerned to publish notices on newspapers, asking 262 people including ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to appear before it in a case filed for making attempt to dislodge the current interim government and carry out anti-state activities. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ariful Islam passed the order today as complainant CID assistant superintendant of police Md Enamul Haque filed a petition in this connection. The court set November 11 as the date of appearance of the fugitive accused. The other prominent accused in the case are Dr Rabbi Alam, Kabirul Islam, Advocate Kamrul Islam, Elahi Newaz Masum, Zakir Hossain Ziku, Professor Taheruzzaman, AKM Akhteruzzaman, Azida Parvin Pakhi, Shaheen, Advocate AFM...
