DHAKA, Oct 14, 2025 (BSS) - The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today said it filed a case against former chairman of Dinajpur Zila Parisad Delwar Hossain on charges of acquiring assets beyond known sources of his income. ACC spokesman Md Tanzir Ahmed said the graft body’s deputy assistant director Md Alam Miah filed the case against Hossain under Section 27(1) of the Anti-Corruption Commission Act, 2004 today. “Delwar Hossain is found to have acquired and possessed assets worth of Tk.7.64 crore, an amount inconsistent with his known source of income,” Ahmed told reporters.
