BR task forces collect Tk 17.26 lakh in fines, fares  | Others

DHAKA, Oct 14, 2025 (BSS) – Bangladesh Railway (BR) task forces have conducted raids on trains running on various route and collected Tk 17.26 lakh in fines and fares from passengers traveling without tickets. A total of 23 task forces are trying to curb black marketing of tickets and enforce the policy that "a ticket belongs to the person who travels," according to a BR press release issued here today.
