DB arrests 4 AL, BCL leaders, activists in city | Others

DHAKA, Oct 14, 2025(BSS)- The Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka MetropolitanPolice (DMP) has arrested four leaders and activists of Awami League (AL) andits front organisations during the last 24 hours. A team of the DB Lalbagh Division, acting on a tip-off, arrested the CulturalSecretary of Dhaka City South AL and a former Assistant Secretary of ALcentral sub-committee Abdul Matin Bhuiyan from Paltan area at about 1.30pm onMonday, a DMP release said here today.Besides, another team of the DB Wari Division arrested former GeneralSecretary of Komolnagar upazila unit BCL under Lakshmipur district SaddamHossain Abeed from TT Para area under Mugda Thana in the capital at about2.15pm yesterday.
