Bangladesh has reported five dengue-related deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing this year’s total toll to 238, while 841 patients were admitted to hospitals around the country. According to Tuesday’s bulletin from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), the tally of hospitalisations from the Aedes mosquito-borne disease this year rose to 56,257 with the latest admissions. The health directorate also reported, of the five dead, two were men and three women. Four of them were aged between 59-65, and the other an 18-year old.
