Travel ban imposed on ex-member of Pirojpur Zila Parishad | Others

DHAKA, Oct 14, 2025 (BSS) – A court here today imposed a travel ban on former member of Pirojpur Zila Parishad Sheikh Abul Kalam Azad in the interest of an investigation into a corruption case. Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Md Sabbir Foyez imposed the ban and ordered the attachment of a flat and a shop in Dhaka, and 37 decimals of land in Dhaka and Narayanganj owned by Azad. Assistant Director of the Public Relations Department of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Tanjil Ahmed disclosed the information to journalists.
