4 medicine shops fined for selling banned veterinary sperm, vaccines at Hili | District

DINAJPUR, Oct 14, 2025 (BSS) - The Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection has fined four veterinary medicine shops a total of Taka 68,000 for selling banned Indian veterinary sperm and vaccines in Hili Land Port area under Hakimpur upazila of Dinajpur district. A team led by Assistant Director of the Dinajpur district office of the Directorate, Md. Borhan Uddin, conducted drives at Charmatha More, Satkuri, Boaldar, and Dangapara markets in the port area from 7 pm to 9 pm on Monday. During the operation, four drug stores were penalized for illegally stocking and selling Indian cow and goat sperm and smuggled veterinary vaccines.
