Petrobangla conducts drive to prevent gas theft in Narayanganj | Others

DHAKA, Oct 14, 2025 (BSS) - In an ongoing effort to prevent gas theft and ensure discipline in distribution network, Petrobangla conducted a special drive in Narayanganj Bandar and Meghnaghat areas on Monday. Executive Magistrate Milton Roy from the Energy and Mineral Resources Division, with the support of Vigilance Team-3 of Petrobangla and the Regional Vigilance Office led the drive. The drive was carried out in three separate spots in the areas, according to an official handout here. At Andirpara in the Bandar area, a commercial lime factory was illegally using gas to run three kilns, each consuming 6,000 cubic feet of gas per hour.
