Fire breaks out in twin factory buildings in Mirpur | Others

DHAKA, Oct 14, 2025 (BSS) - A fire broke out in a garment and pharmaceutical factory at Rupnagar in the capital’s Mirpur area. The fire originated in Cosmic Pharma and Sardar Garments Factory at Sialbari, Rupnagar in Mirpur around 11:40am today, media officer of Fire Service and Civil Defenec (FSCD) Talha-bin Jasim told BSS. The two building is located side by side in front of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) in Rupnagar, he said.
