Fire breaks out at garments factory, chemical godown in Mirpur

Seven firefighting units are attempting to bring a fire that broke out at a godown storing garments and chemicals in the Rupnagar area of Dhaka’s Mirpur under control. The blaze was reported around 11:40am on Tuesday at the Cosmic Pharma godown, according to Fire Service spokesman Talha Bin Jashim.
