Ericsson net profit nearly triples in third quarter | Business

STOCKHOLM, Oct 14, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Swedish telecom giant Ericsson reported Tuesday a sharp rise in quarterly net profit due to cost cuts and an asset sale. Ericsson's profit after tax nearly tripled to 11.3 billion kronor ($1.2 billion) in the third quarter. Sales fell nine percent to 56.2 billion kronor, meeting expectations of analysts surveyed by FactSet, a financial data firm.
