Tarique Rahman stands by victim child in Shariatpur | Others

DHAKA, Oct 13, 2025 (BSS)– Acting Chairman of BNP Tarique Rahman has extended support to the minor girl who was a victim of a heinous 'attempt to rape' incident in Shariatpur. A delegation from the BNP's Health Support Cell for Oppressed Women and Children visited the victim’s home in Saikhya village under Gosairhat upazila of Shariatpur today as per the instructions of Tarique Rahman. During the visit, BNP Health Affairs Secretary Dr Md Rafiqul Islam, who is also the central coordinator of the Health Support Cell, spoke virtually with the child’s family.
