Tk 3 lakh fines imposed on 2 travel agencies in city | Others

DHAKA, Oct 13, 2025 (BSS) - The Directorate of National Consumer RightsProtection (DNCRP), under the supervision of the Ministry of Civil Aviationand Tourism, in a drive today fined two travel agencies in the capital'sNayapaltan area a total of Taka 3 lakh for irregularities and failure toprovide services as promised. The DNCRP officials, accompanied by representatives from the Civil Aviationand Tourism Ministry, conducted the joint drive at Airspeed Private Limitedand Naria Travels and Tours this afternoon, said a press release here. During the operation, Airspeed Private Limited was fined Taka 50,000 underSection 45 of the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009 for failing to deliverservices as per commitment to its clients.
