DHAKA, Oct 13, 2025 (BSS) – The Department of Social Services (DSS) has invited online applications for the selection of beneficiaries of allowances and stipends under the social security programme. This information was given through a notification signed by Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Director (Social Security) of the Social Security Branch of the DSS, today. The notification stated that it is hereby informed that, in the 2025-2026 fiscal year, the online application process has started for the provision of old age allowance, widow and husband abuse allowance, disability allowance, educational stipend for students with disabilities, and allowances and stipends for hijras, bedes, backward classes, and tea workers under the social security programme.
