CHT affairs ministry first secretary Golam Rahman passes away  | Others

DHAKA, Oct 13, 2025 (BSS) - The first secretary to the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Kazi Golam Rahman died of old age complications at his Gulshan residence here today. Kazi Golam Rahman, an officer of the then Police Service of Pakistan (PSP), joined the government service in 1967. During his long career, he served in many capacities including Director General of the National Security Intelligence (NSI), Additional Inspector General of police of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police and Chairman of the Power Development Board.
