CHATTOGRAM, Oct 13, 2025 (BSS) – The authorities have decided to use a modern Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) machine to count ballots for the Chattogram University Central Students’ Union (CUCSU) elections, including the Hall Council votes. AKM Ariful Haque Siddiqui, member secretary of the election management committee, announced this afternoon that the CUCSU elections will be conducted using the OMR system. Voters will fill in circles on the ballots to cast their votes, allowing for the quick publication of results.
