Police have secured five days to question former Bangladesh Chhatra League leader Redwanun Mir Pallab in the case involving the 2018 attack on BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's motorcade. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Monirul Islam delivered the order on Monday, following a petition from the investigating officer. On Oct 4, Sub-Inspector Hasanuzzaman, the investigating officer from Shahbagh Police Station, submitted an application seeking a 10-day remand for Pallab. He was produced in court during the hearing. State counsel Harun Or Rashid presented arguments in favour of the remand application.
