30 passengers injured as bus overturns in Habiganj | District

HABIGANJ, Oct 13, 2025 (BSS) - At least 30 passengers were injured as a bus of 'Unique Paribahan' overturned in the Shahpur Haritala area under Madhabpur upazila of the district this afternoon. The accident occurred around 1pm on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway when the Sylhet-bound bus from Dhaka turned turtle by losing control while overtaking another vehicle, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shayestaganj Highway Police Station Shuvo Ranjan Chakraborty.
