Names of 16 colleges changed | News

DHAKA, Oct 13, 2025 (BSS) - The names of 16 colleges under the National University (NU) have been changed.It was confirmed in a recent notification signed by Kazi Nurul Islam, Deputy Secretary of the Private College Branch-6 of Directorate of Secondary and Higher Secondary of the Ministry of Education.This order will be effective immediately with the approval of the appropriate authorities.Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib College, Natore Sadar has been renamed Chandrakola Degree College, Natore Sadar while Sheikh Mujibur Rahman College, Kachua, Chandpur as Rahimanagar Degree College, SM Mostafa Rashidi Shuja Girls College, Dighlia, Khulna as Pather Bazar Girls College, and Mohiuddin Degree College, Meherpur Sadar as Meherpur Municipal Degree College.While Banglabazar Fatema Khanam Degree College in Bhola Sadar is renamed as...
