BB extends loan rescheduling facility for jute exporters till Dec 31 | Business

DHAKA, Oct 13, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Bank (BB) has extended a loanrescheduling facility for raw jute exporters till December 31, 2025, allowingthem to reschedule loans for the next two years with a two percent downpayment based on their outstanding loans as of December 31, 2024. To this end, the central bank today issued a circular saying that theinstruction has been given in response to difficulties faced by exporters infulfilling the requirements of earlier measures designed to resolve theexisting problems within the raw jute export sector.
