Rangpur crowned champions of NCL T20

The Rangpur Division has won the second edition of the National Cricket League T20 competition. Their victory makes them back-to-back champions as they had also won the first NCL title. Rangpur sealed the trophy after beating the Khulna Division by eight wickets at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Sunday. Rangpur won the toss and sent Khulna in to bat. Captain Mohammad Mithun led the charge, scoring 44 off 32 balls, but the rest of the team failed to find their footing at bat, with only Mrittunjoy Chowdhury (24 off 13 balls) making a significant contribution at the crease.
