AL's corruption led to shutdown fertilizer factories- Moyeen Khan | Others

Narsingdi, Oct 12, 2025 (BSS)- BNP Standing Committee Member Dr. Abdul Moyeen Khan has said massive corruption and plundering by the previous Awami League government led to the closure of two functional fertilizer factories in Narsingdi, merging them into one. “They looted thousands of crores of taka in the name of building a new fertilizer factory. Due to corruption, they launched a new project by demolishing two operational fertilizer plants,” he alleged. He made the remarks while addressing workers at a gathering organized by the Ghorashal-Palash Fertilizer PLC Employees’ Union in Palash, Narsingdi today.
