Banned BCL leader Miraj held under Anti-Terrorism Act | Others

DHAKA, Oct 12, 2025 (BSS) - Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) of police has arrested a leader of the banned Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) from the capital's Kereniganj area in a case filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act. The detainee was identified as Patuakhali District Chhatra League leader Md. Miraj Khan (28). He was arrested in a raid at Keraniganj area around 10:30pm on Saturday, said a police press release. Miraj participated in a procession of BCL held in front of Inquilab Bhaban in Motijheel on September 15, 2025 and he also shared a video reel of the procession on his Facebook ID.
