The Shahjalal University of Science and Technology has withdrawn the expulsion orders of 25 students from the Economics and Statistics departments, who were earlier penalised for alleged ragging. The university authorities announced the decision on Saturday through a notice amid an ongoing protest demanding the withdrawal of the expulsions. According to the notice, the decision was made following discussions between the affected students and the heads of their respective departments, and a joint recommendation was approved.
