Ex-chief of Naval Staff Sarwar Jahan Nizam laid to rest with military honour | News

DHAKA, Oct 11, 2025 (BSS) – The Namaz-e-Janaza of former Chief of Naval Staff Vice- Admiral Sarwar Jahan Nizam (Retd.) was held after Zohr prayers today at the Naval Headquarters Jame Mosque here. Advisers to the Interim government, Chiefs of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, former Navy Chiefs, senior military and civilian officers of the Armed Forces, and members of the bereaved family attended the Janaza. Following the Janaza, the deceased was taken to Banani Military Graveyard and laid to eternal rest with full military honour, according to an ISPR statement here.
