Online madrasa founder held in dowry case in Ctg | District

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 11, 2025 (BSS) - Police have arrested Riyad Hasan, husbandand founding director of Bangladesh Online Madrasa, in a dowry case filed byhis wife under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chandgaon Police Station Md Jahedul Kabir saidpolice arrested Riyad Hasan, 25, on Friday night from the Chandgaon area ofthe city based on an arrest warrant issued in the case. Riyad, a native of Rahmatpur Birampur in Sunamganj district, was living inthe Khaja Road Bolir Hat Pakka Shop area under Chandgaon Police Station.
