Protecting migratory birds for ecological balance stressed | District

RAJSHAHI, Oct 11, 2025 (BSS)-World Migratory Bird Day was observed in Rajshahi today (Saturday) with the call for taking immediate measures to protect the migratory birds and their habitats from pollution and other habitat depletion.To mark the day, a cycle rally and street corner meeting were held at Shimla Park area in the city this afternoon showing love to the migratory birds. Youth Action for Social Change (YASC), Barendra Youth Forum, Bangladesh Resource Centre for Indigenous Knowledge (BARCIK), Sabuj Sanghati, 0.6 Gravity Riders and Save Wild Life and Nature jointly organized the events.
