NCP’s Akhtar calls for justice over ‘enforced disappearances and killings’

National Citizen Party Member Secretary Akhtar Hossain has demanded that members of law-enforcing agencies accused of committing crimes against humanity during the Awami League regime be brought to justice. He made the call while speaking at Shaheed Abu Sayed Square outside Begum Rokeya University in Rangpur on Saturday. He said, “Some [Army] generals were involved in enforced disappearances and murders to gain Sheikh Hasina’s favour. “They have destroyed families, as well as the entire democracy of Bangladesh.
